Why Your Gift Matters
For as long as there have been nations, Jerusalem has been the city they look toward. The Jerusalem Unity Center exists so that they can also come here — to study together, to listen to one another, and to find what they hold in common.
Everything the Center does is free of any requirement to belong. Our courses, our gatherings, our library, and our institutes are open to people of every nation, culture, and tradition, with no affiliation or prior study required. That openness is only possible because the work is carried by donors rather than by fees.
The Center is sponsored by The Seventy Nations (R.A.) Jerusalem, a registered Israeli nonprofit association, and works in partnership with its sister organization The Jerusalem Unity Center USA, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit foundation through which US donors give.
Where Your Gift Goes
-
Education & Scholarships
Courses and pathways in consciousness, spiritual development, human flourishing, dialogue, and culture — and scholarships so that cost is never the reason someone cannot study.
-
The Six Institutes
Research and teaching in consciousness, spiritual intelligence, human flourishing, moral leadership, global dialogue, and science — and the faculty who carry it out.
-
Gatherings & Culture
Evenings of music, film, poetry and storytelling; interfaith conversations, leadership forums, and international roundtables — all of them open to the public.
-
The Campus
The Center’s permanent home in Jerusalem: halls of learning, a library, gardens, and a place for the nations to gather. See the master plan.

Tax-deductibility
Gifts from US taxpayers are received by The Jerusalem Unity Center USA, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit foundation, and are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Our EIN is [EIN to be confirmed]. Donors outside the United States should check their own local rules; we are glad to provide whatever documentation your authority requires.
Receipts
Every donation receives an emailed receipt at the address given on the form, usually within a few minutes. If one does not arrive, write to info@jerusalemunity.org and we will reissue it.
How gifts are used
Unrestricted gifts are applied to the Center’s educational programs, institutes, public gatherings, and the building of its campus in Jerusalem, together with the administration those require. If you would like your gift directed to one of them in particular, say so on the form or write to us and we will honour it.
Refunds and monthly gifts
A gift made in error will be refunded in full — write to us within 30 days. A monthly gift can be changed or stopped at any time, either from the link in your receipt or by writing to us; we will confirm by email.
Your information
We never sell, rent, or trade donor information. What we collect and how we handle it is set out in our Privacy Policy. Payment details are handled entirely by our payment partner and are never stored on our own systems.
Who we serve
The Center is open to people of every nation, culture, faith, and background, and gives no preference among them. Our commitment is set out in full in our Non-Discrimination Policy.
Questions About Giving
Is my donation tax-deductible?
For US taxpayers, yes. Gifts are received by The Jerusalem Unity Center USA, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit foundation, and are deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Donors elsewhere should check their own local rules — write to us and we will send whatever documentation your tax authority asks for.
Can I give monthly instead of all at once?
Yes, and it helps more than a single gift of the same size, because it lets us plan a year of teaching rather than a month of it. Choose “Give Monthly” above. You can change or stop it at any time.
Can I choose what my gift supports?
Yes. Say which part of the Center’s work you would like it applied to — education, one of the institutes, gatherings, or the campus — either in the form’s message field or by writing to us afterwards, and we will honour it.
Can I give in a currency other than US dollars?
Yes. Our payment partner accepts cards issued in most countries and converts at the rate applying on the day. For a gift in another currency by bank transfer, write to us and we will send the right account details.
How do I get a receipt?
It is emailed automatically to the address on the form, usually within a few minutes. Check the spam folder first, and if it still has not arrived, write to info@jerusalemunity.org and we will reissue it.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. The form is served over an encrypted connection by our payment partner, which is PCI-compliant. Card numbers are never transmitted to, or stored on, the Center’s own systems.
Can I give something other than money?
Yes. Gifts of goods, expertise, professional services, and time are all genuinely useful, and our US foundation can receipt in-kind gifts as well as cash. Write to us describing what you have in mind.
Who do I speak to about a large or complex gift?
Write to info@jerusalemunity.org with a line about what you are considering, and someone from the Center will reply personally. Major gifts, sponsorships, and legacies are always arranged in conversation.
Still have a question? Write to us — we read everything that arrives.
